The exam timer program was developed for use in a school examination room to clearly indicate to students the remaining time in an examination as well as details of the exam:
Locked fullscreen window before exam begins
- exam name
- start time
- finish time
- any reading time
The remaining time is automatically calculated and shown both in text and graphically
How is the program used?
In examinations the program is run from a windows based PC attached to a projector.
The details of the exam are entered into the program prior to the exam commencing. Once details are entered the program is "locked", this sets the backgrounds colour to black and creates a full screen form on the currently active monitor.
Once the exam is ready to begin the supervisor clicks the begin button, the timers are set and the exam time begins to countdown.
